1st Word:  Christ-Centered
7th Word:  Diversity
In all we do, we want to do it for Christ’s glory and not our own.  We know how dependent we are on the Holy Spirit to empower us to live this kind of life. The PEER Servants volunteer team is a very diverse one – by race, ethnicity, gender, age, socioeconomic status, and denomination.  With love for each other as our anchor, we believe we can best serve our diverse world by reflecting that diversity within our membership.
2nd Word:  Partnership
8th Word:  Efficient
All that we accomplish is done through partnerships with brothers and sisters in Christ around the world.  We are here to serve our partners. We believe all gifts are from God and that we are called to be stewards of them.  We are committed to being as efficient as possible with the financial contributions given to us and commit to directing 100% of each contribution to one of our microfinance partners unless instructed otherwise by the donor.
3rd Word:  Fellowship
9th Word:  Sustainability
Any strong partnership must start with fellowship.  We want to mean it when we use the term “brother” or “sister”.  This is true of our partners as well as our PEER Servants co-volunteers. We believe that our brothers and sisters will take steps to most effectively expand the Kingdom in their part of the world if the funds for such expansion are generated locally.  Given this, each of our partnerships is committed to pursuing a self-sustaining program.
4th Word:  Volunteer
10th Word:  Accountability
PEER Servants is comprised of all volunteers – no one associated with PEER Servants is paid.  We are a very committed group, very sincere about our desire to see the global church strengthened and willing to make personal sacrifices to witness that happen. Given our foundation of fellowship, our partners and we are jointly committed to be accountable to each other in how we use what God has provided for us.  We maintain regular, open reporting of program results and require certain performance standards to be met before additional funding is invested.
5th Word:  Team
11th Word:  Risk Oriented
PEER Servants volunteers work together in teams.  As volunteers, there will be times when each one of us is limited in what we can offer to PEER Servants; in these times, other team members can pick up the slack to enable the task to be accomplished. PEER Servants is willing to partner with parts of the world that may be higher risk given the effects of war, corruption, persecution, or general political instability.  We do so to come alongside our brother and sister at time of crisis in the name of Christ.
6th Word:  Reciprocity
12th Word:  Prayer
We are firmly committed to the strengthening of the global church – not only overseas, but in the West as well – and hold staunchly to the belief that God has prepared our brothers and sisters around the world to meet our needs just as much as He has prepared us to meet their needs. PEER Servants is supremely committed to moving the hand of God through prayer.  Our most common task is prayer.  Our most frequent meeting is prayer meeting.  Our greatest service to our partners is our prayers.
