It’s a Yahoo-driven search engine that donates a penny to PEER Servants
for every internet search that you do. Just enter “PEER Servants” as
your cause in the middle drop-down menu. Spread the word. 1,000 people
doing 2-3 internet searches a day will yield $10,000 a year in capital,
and that will start quite a few small businesses!
Shop for Groceries
If you do your grocery shopping at Stop & Shop (which also works
for Giants and Super Giants) or Shaw’s, you can purchase gift cards
from a PEER Servants volunteer and have 5% of your grocery purchases go
to PEER Servants. If you prefer to order your gift cards
directly, download our Gift Card Order Form and send it along with your check to the address provided on the
Form. You should receive your gift cards within two weeks.
Shop at Barnes & Noble or Kohl’s
PEER Servants volunteers have gift cards for both Barnes & Noble
and Kohl’s that you can purchase from them and have 5% of your purchase
donated to PEER Servants. If you prefer to order your gift cards
directly, download our Gift Card Order Form and send it along with your check to the address provided on the
Form. You should receive your gift cards within two weeks.
Shop Online at iGive or Amazon
PEER
Servants has arranged for you to be able to give while doing your
on-line shopping at Amazon or one of over 600 retailers at iGive.com
(including Best Buy, Staples, Barnes & Noble, Dell, Old Navy and
many others -- see a full list of retailers at their website).
Just click on either of the links below, open a free account, make your
on-line purchase, and a portion of your purchase price (varying by
retailer) will be sent to PEER Servants! iGive.com will even send
you a tax receipt for the gift made to PEER Servants.

Sell Your Items on eBay
eBay’s
a great place to auction some of those items you may not prize as much
as you used to and someone else would value even more than you. Now
choose PEER Servants as the cause you’d like to support when you are
listing your items and PEER Servants will get your specified percentage
when your items sell. Download our eBay Instructions Form for more information.
Fill Your Gas Tank
Apply for the Discover Gas Card and get 5% of your gas purchases (up to
$1,200 per year) deposited into your cash account. Withdraw your cash
deposit and donate it to PEER Servants. Apply for the Discover Gas Card
at iGive.com (see icon link above) and PEER Servants will receive $15
through your iGive.com account.

Servants has an annual Walk for Economic Empowerment around Lake
Quannopowitt in Wakefield, Massachusetts every September of each
year. Each Walk raises many thousands of dollars and it all goes
to loan capital for the materially poor to start small

Invest in Stocks
PEER Servants offers a service provided by the Giving Center at Caritance Foundation that accepts gifts of stocks and mutual funds online. It only takes
five minutes to initiate a gift from our website 24/7. Your gift will
be processed quickly and efficiently using this web-based technology
powered by AssetStream. When the gift is completed, Caritance Foundation will send the tax receipt to you and cash proceeds to us. There is a
small fee (approximately 3%) applied to the gift before we receive it
and there may or may not be a brokerage fee associated with the gift
depending on the nature of the security (e.g., mutual fund vs. stock)
and where it was sold.

Credit Card Donation
You can donate securely with your credit card or through
your PayPal account. Once you click on the button below, you will be
able to enter the amount you would like to donate. You will also be
able to designate another PEER Servants board-approved purpose in the
box designated "Payment For". If you do not designate a purpose for
your gift, 100% of your net contribution (which is your entire
contribution minus the transaction costs of no more than 3% for this
service) will be used to provide loan capital through one of our
partnering organizations. You will be asked for your shipping
address. This is for our records so that you can get a tax deduction
for your donation.

PEER Servants is committed to
financial accountability and transparency with our donors. We are also
committed to using your donations wisely and efficiently – in fact,
because PEER Servants has so many of their services and expenses
covered by volunteers, any donations given to PEER Servants that are
undesignated go 100% to one of our microfinance partners as they serve their clients with micro-loans and business development services. The
loan capital generates interest revenue that our partners can use to
cover their operating expenses while continuing to
be used, as it is paid back, for making additional loans. Thus, as loans are repaid, the donation results in
more than just one loan. PEER Servants works with our partners to try
to keep loan repayment rates as high as possible to allow loan funds to
“revolve” many times over.
