Robies Joseph, Southern Region MED Coordinator - Haiti
Robies is the Southern Region MED Coordinator for World Concern Haiti, PEER Servants’ partner in Haiti. The MED program is based in Les Cayes and focuses primarily on women who operate very simple businesses, such as buying rice from farmers, bringing the rice to the city to sell in the market and then buying goods in the market that they can sell back in their villages. Robies and his team also provide additional training to the micro-entrepreneurs, not only in the areas of business, but in areas related to health, nutrition, and literacy. In so doing, the families of Southern Haiti are having a means to stand during these very difficult days in the region.
