Pastor Americo Ramos Medina and Mary Sanchez Mendoza, Board Members - Peru
Pastor Americo is the past Board Chairman and Mary the current Board Chairman of K’allarisunchis, PEER Servants’ MED partner in Cusco, Peru. K’allarisunchis is a very successful program focused primarily on the Quechua population in the region. Micro-entrepreneurs gain access to credit and business training, and K’allarisunchis uses a portion of the interest revenues to support a children’s feeding program while helping build a church in a growing part of Cusco. Hundreds of entrepreneurs have benefited from the program, while hearing the message of the gospel at the same time. Pastor Americo and Mary are part of the Peruvian team hosting Ricchari 2007, the next worldwide gathering of the PEER Servants’ partners to be held in Cusco.
