PEER Servants partners with organizations in Africa, Asia, Caribbean, Eurasia, and Latin America. The primary purpose of each partnership is to strengthen the global church through economic empowerment. Each partner’s program is autonomous and designed to operate best within that region - thus, the resulting MED programs vary significantly from each other. Highlights of each partner and their MED program are provided by region below. |

| PEER Servants has two partners in the Caribbean - the Haitian Assistance Ministry in the Bahamas and World Concern Haiti in Haiti. Both partners focus on the Haitian population. |

| The Caribbean has been hit hard with recent natural disasters resulting from the 2004 hurricane season, but long before that, there were significant needs for ministering among the poor in Christ’s name. Haiti is a country that may have historically received more missions dollars per resident than any other country in the world, and yet the country is no better off today than in recent decades. In fact, Haiti’s proximity to the much richer United States has in some ways been a curse as so much of the missions activity left the Haitian people feeling they were somehow viewed as less favorable in God’s eyes. Christian micro-enterprise offers the opportunity to enable Haitians to help themselves and come to a much better understanding of how God values them and has put His image in each of them. Our Haitian brothers and sisters have much to teach us of what it means to persevere in economic and political turmoil and to hold on to Christ’s words that He will “never leave us or forsake us”. |
