PEER Servants Partners’ Profiles

Four Factors to Successful Partnerships

Steps to Becoming a PEER Servants Partner

PEER Servants partners with organizations in Africa, Asia, Caribbean, Eurasia, and Latin America. The primary purpose of each partnership is to strengthen the global church through economic empowerment. Each partner’s program is autonomous and designed to operate best within that region - thus, the resulting MED programs vary significantly from each other. Highlights of each partner and their MED program are provided by region below.

Africa Asia Caribbean Eurasia Latin America

PEER Servants has three partners in Latin America - La Buena Semilla (The Good Seed) in Mexico, K’allarisunchis in Peru, and Kingdom Seed in Brazil.

La Buena Semilla was the first PEER Servant (then known as Christian Technical Support, or CTS) partner. It started in 1991 as a complement to a church plant and in 1994 became fully Mexican staffed, governed, and funded. It was from this experience that the initial CTS volunteers concluded the Christian micro-enterprise concept can work and that the ministry can become sustainable. La Buena Semilla has remained relatively small over the years, but with a dedicated board and staff, it has stood the test of time and served as an exceptional complement to the church plant to introduce people to Christ who may otherwise have not shown interest. Now Latin America is serving up PEER Servant’s newest partner, Kingdom Seed, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Kingdom Seed is not yet operational, but the CB’Shalom International Baptist Churches are heading to a 2005 launch of their MED program. Latin America is another part of the world that has witnessed exceptional growth in the evangelical and pentecostal church - Christian MED offers a means through which the church can be equipped for even more effective outreach into their communities and creating the bridges to Christian volunteers in other parts of the world who can have their own spiritual passion restored by partnering alongside their Latin brothers and sisters.
