Four Factors to Successful Partnerships

Steps to Becoming a PEER Servants Partner

Moss Mphaga, Board Chairman - South Africa

Moss and some of his church youth group friends grew up in Mamelodi, a township on the outskirts of Pretoria, in the dark days of apartheid. He worked night and day in pursuing a university education, eventually completing a law degree, and became one of the few black members of the Pretoria Bar. Many of the other church youth group friends worked hard as well and, as apartheid was made history, they took their rightful place in the mainstream of the South African economy. Unfortunately, many others in the townships have been left behind, and Moss and his colleagues established Aloga Financial Services as a means to allow them to start their own small businesses - almost 300 have benefited since program inception. Aloga is focusing on working through the churches of Mamelodi and raising missions awareness in the black South African church.
