Joseph is one of many university students in PEER Servants - he is completing his PhD at Duke University. God has blessed him with exceptional leadership skills, and he was the Steering Committee Chairman for Kopano, the first ever gathering of all of PEER Servants partners in one place and one time held in South Africa in August, 2004. He heads up PEER Servants’ Networking Service Team, which looks at ways we can best network our MED partners to learn from and teach each other in order to further strengthen the global church through economic development.
“As a result of my involvement with PEER Servants, God has truly expanded my vision for the church and has clarified the importance of mutuality and reciprocity across cultures in achieving this vision. This picture of a community of believers that is not circumscribed by walls or boundaries has transformed the very nature of my Christian witness and walk.” |
