Josue was born and grew up in Puerto Rico before eventually heading to the mainland United States for university education. His focus within PEER Servants is on the Consulting Service Team, where he devotes time to becoming very knowledgeable in the field of micro-enterprise development so that he can consult with new and existing PEER Servants partners in helping them adopt an optimal design to drive better results within their program. He also leverages his expertise by training the other Team Latin America volunteers to make certain all volunteers have at least a baseline competence in micro-enterprise development.
