PEER Servants volunteers offer seven services to our MED partners. |
| |
| |
1) Consulting: We provide consultative services to assist a prospective partner in designing their own MED program while also working with existing partners to refine the design of their programs and enable them to achieve their desired results. |
|
| |
| |
2) Training: We provide training to partners’ staffs and boards in how to operate and govern a MED program while working with the staff to prepare training materials for the entrepreneurs in their program. We also provide coaching services to the senior staff of the partners to enable them to identify the needs of the organization relative to their current abilities and identify areas where further development is needed. |
|
| |
| |
3) Funding: We will provide a relatively modest amount of seed loan capital to a partner that they, in turn, will loan out to their entrepreneurs. We also provide funds to assist the partner with covering a portion of their operating expenses until the point where the organization is sustainable based on their interest revenues. We work with our partners to help them find other donors both in (if possible) and outside of their respective countries. |
|
| |
| |
4) Capacity Building: We will help our partners identify steps they need to take to operate more effectively and efficiently and stay on track to becoming a sustainable entity. We will also provide services to enable them to pursue such growth - e.g., training them in the use of loan administration software to enable them to process a larger number of loans and establish appropriate internal controls. |
|
| |
| |
5) Program Reporting: We help our partners’ staffs adopt an accurate and efficient means of reporting their program results to their board, partners (including PEER Servants), and other interested parties. We review their results on a monthly basis to raise any potential areas for growth or improvements. |
|
| |
| |
6) Networking: We create opportunities for our partners to learn from each other while also teaching each other what it is they have learned. We also provide opportunities for our partners to learn from MED organizations not necessarily affiliated with PEER Servants. |
|
| |
| |
7) Spiritual Empowering: We provide services to our partners to enable them to achieve their commitment to see spiritual transformation in their communities by praying for the staff, boards, and entrepreneurs regularly. We are also committed to biblical discipleship among the staff, board, and entrepreneurs with each partner along with the PEER Servants volunteers supporting the partner. |
|
| |
| In addition, each partner will have a Relationship Manager who stays in regular contact with the partner, encourages them, and identifies their needs that can be met by the PEER Servants volunteers. |
