PEER Servants Announces Dates for its 2018 Key Events

PEER Servants generally holds four key events each year, and that will be the case again in 2018.

  • Concert for Economic Empowerment – Saturday, March 10, 6:30 – 8:30 pm: An evening of global music and desserts with accounts of what PEER Servants volunteers are doing next door and across the globe between music sets. Revive Community Church (111 Terrace Hall Road, Burlington, MA). Admission: Free.
  • Walk for Economic Empowerment – Saturday, June 2, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm: A fun day of crowdfunding, food, and recreation with 100% of the funds raised going to our microfinance partners and our programs that support them. PEER Servants Office (591 North Avenue, Wakefield, MA). Check back in March 2018 for crowdfunding site.
  • Lydia Awards Celebration – Saturday, August 11, 6:00 – 8:00 pm: An evening celebrating transformation as we recognize the micro-entrepreneurs having the greatest impact through their businesses.  Vote for your favorite to determine the 2018 Lydia Award recipient, announced at the end of the evening. Enjoy the food from the countries of the three finalists as part of the festive evening. Grace Chapel Adult Learning Center (Room 205, 2 Militia Drive, Lexington, MA). Admission: Free.
  • Fall Fundraising Banquet – Saturday, October 27, 5:30 – 8:00 pm: Our biggest fundraising event of the year as we gather to celebrate what God has done and make our own investments in furthering His kingdom work. Enjoy a delicious meal, global music and dance, and stories of inspiration. Place TBD. Admission TBD.
