PEER Servants has long been blessed with volunteers from Singapore as part of our global family, but July 2019 witnessed a significant increase in Singaporean volunteers. After the Philippines trip, seven of the PEER associates traveled on to Singapore to train a team of ten Singaporean volunteers in how to administer our rapidly growing PEER Teens Scholar program. Included in the team of seven was Ugandan Gift Agani, the first PEER Teens Scholar graduate (sitting right of Bertram Lim, the birthday boy!), who had just completed the academic work for his Bachelors in Education. His testimony helped everyone appreciate the critical role of the program in making a university education available to promising young servant leaders whose families could not otherwise afford the education. We are so, so excited that God has raised up these bright, young Singaporean volunteers to join us. Welcome, Singapore!
