Unity Seed – Trust in God: Lean Not
Key Verse
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Romans 3:5-6 (NIV)
Short Reflection
Please scroll down for the Filipino version of this post.
Each of us has our own talents, abilities and wisdom.
But in the situation of our world today, perhaps everyone is becoming anxious, anxious about how to survive from the pandemic, from hunger and poverty. We all hope that COVID-19 will have a cure so that everything will be back to normal.
However, God promises that if we fully trust in his ability and not in our own intellect and ability, we can be sure that God will guide us and do things that we did not expect as He said in Jeremiah 33: 3.
It is natural that we rely on the ability of doctors and nurses whenever we are sick, but it is more important that we trust in God completely. Let us look to Jesus as the author and finisher of our faith.
We do not know what will happen in the next few days, in the next few months and years, one thing we know that our God is faithful to His promises if we trust in Him completely.
Finally, let us remember that we can do all things because of the power that Christ has given us. With that let us remain humble before our Lord Jesus, the author of all things.
Lord, let this reader and I be “All for One”, and may we learn to lean on you, not just ourselves or those around us.

Filipino Version
Kawikaan 3:5-6
