Congratulations to Dionnie Juan, a vegetable farmer served by our Filipino partner, CCT, as the recipient of our 2020 Lydia Award! Dionnie was wrongfully accused of murder and spent ten years in jail before being acquitted. He came out of that experience embracing God’s love and mercy and has since, with the help of access to credit from CCT, been able to establish a strong business and provide his four children with a university education. Check out his story in this four-minute video produced by CCT. Congratulations as well to the other Lydia Award finalists – Eustaquio from Peru, Victoria from Uganda, and Emily from South Sudan! It was so nice to vote in an election where all four candidates were deserving winners!
