The Path to Perfect Peace – Practice True Shalom: All

Key Verse

You will keep in perfect peace
all who trust in you,
all whose thoughts are fixed on you!

Isaiah 26:3 (NLT)

Short Reflection

We all long for peace, and God longs for us to experience peace. He is such a caring, thoughtful, loving Father who wants nothing but the best for His children.

God knows us, and He knows how quick we are to doubt Him or to doubt ourselves. Perhaps that’s why Isaiah noted not once but twice that “All” of us can experience perfect peace if we keep our trust and thoughts fixed on God. Sometimes we may think our own history or set of circumstances is so unique that certain verses might be applicable to others, but not to us. Perhaps you have concluded that no one could experience any form of peace, let alone perfect peace, if they had been in your shoes.

But God tells us otherwise. He assures “All” of us that perfect peace can be ours – no matter the past history, the current situation, or the future outlook. You and I are called to get our eyes off of the thing taking away our peace and fixing our eyes on the Only One who can give us peace. You and I are called to remove our trust in ourselves or anyone else and place our trust solely on God.

Then and only then, will perfect peace be ours. To God, you and I are precious members of the “All”.

Thank you for joining us on this Path to Perfect Peace.
