Healed To Love
We all carry places in our lives that need His healing, wounds from relationships, family, disappointment, rejection, loss, or seasons of deep struggle. Yet admitting that we need healing can be difficult. We often learn to rely on ourselves and hide our weaknesses.
But Jesus invites us to humility and surrender. As 2 Corinthians 12:9 reminds us, His grace is sufficient, and His power is revealed in our weakness. Healing begins when we can honestly say, “Jesus, I need You here too.”
And as we receive His healing love, He begins to make us vessels of that same love for others.
First John 4:11–12 reminds us that because God has loved us so deeply, we are called to love one another. When we experience His mercy, we begin to see people differently, not as problems to fix or failures to judge, but as people deeply loved by God.
Our world is filled with people longing to be seen, heard, welcomed, and loved. God invites us to carry His healing love through simple acts of compassion, patience, kindness, listening, and presence.
We, however, cannot give what we have not received. But as we receive the love of Jesus, He can make us channels of His healing love to others.
May we not only experience the healing love of Jesus, but become vessels through which others encounter Him.
