Cause 04 – Special Project Grant
Global Management Team Initiative
For many years, PEER Servants has been growing, and its kingdom impact around the world has been growing as well. There are now hundreds of PEER Servants Volunteers originally from over 35 countries and 12 church denominations. Our greatest strategic need is to build our management capacity of these Volunteers so that they can more effectively serve our Global Partners and the tens of thousands of families they are serving. The PEER Servants Board recognized this need to build management capacity. Given the high labor costs in Boston and our desire to be good stewards of what God entrusts us to empower the materially poor around the world, we have already started to build our Global Management Team with some of our most dedicated, talented Volunteers who reside outside of Boston and even outside of the United States. We can offer these individuals a living wage in their parts of the world at much lower levels than it would be in Boston. This Global Management Team Initiative Special Project will address this strategic need to further strengthen our management capacity, which is particularly vital in this season of leadership transition.
