Fantastic Opportunities to See and Embrace the World God Loves

Upcoming Trips

Pack your bags and grab your passport! We’d love to have you join us on an upcoming PEER Servants trip to one of our microfinance partners. Your costs would be international and possibly domestic airfare, preparation costs (e.g., passport, possibly visa, possibly inoculations, etc.), and in-country ground costs that generally do not exceed $800/week per person (double occupancy). Email us at travel@peerservants.org for more info.

Where Would You Like to Go in 2020?

PEER Servants is working with our global partners to offer you many different travel opportunities in 2020. Whether you’d like to see their kingdom-extending work in Asia, Eastern Europe, Africa, or the Americas, check your options below to see our travel line-up. The coronavirus is putting a current hold on our travel plans, but once it passes and it is appropriate to travel, we look forward to your joining us in meeting our inspiring global partners and the special people they serve. Regardless of your destination, it will likely be a life-changing experience! We hope to see you with passport in hand very soon.

Guatemala – Postponed

We had hoped to visit our Guatemalan partner in May, 2020 but the trip is being rescheduled to later in the year once the coronavirus passes. When it does, come see and celebrate the expansion of the work of Potter’s House and their microfinance arm, Vida Nueva, beyond Guatemala City. We will celebrate the launch of Vida Nueva in Chiquimula, lead a training session at a business school for at-risk students who never made it out of secondary school, provide education training to Potter’s House staff and public school teachers, and witness the breadth of the organization’s programs in extending the kingdom to the Guatemalan materially poor. Registration Deadline: TBD

Africa – June 28-July 12, 2020

The centerpiece of this Africa trip will be the July 3-5 launch of PEER Servants’ first Volunteer Chapter outside of Boston – this Chapter in Nairobi, Kenya! It will be a Kenyan celebration you won’t want to miss! Add to that experience an optional few days the week prior visiting our Burundian partner and/or a few days the week after either visiting our Ugandan and South Sudanese partners or staying in Kenya and working with the Kenyan PEER Servants volunteers in their kingdom work. This trip will allow you to experience the vibrant, joyful African spirit and work alongside of our African partners and volunteers as they address issues of material poverty. Registration Deadline: May 31, 2020

Sri Lanka – July 10-July 19, 2020

Come visit one of the most beautiful countries on the planet and see the work of YGro as they help the materially poor in the country, especially women who are now heads of household, recover from the country’s long civil war. We will participate in staff training retreats for both the microfinance and education staff while hosting an English and Computer Camp for children who have so much future potential. Teachers and those passionate about the impact education can have in stopping inter-generational poverty are especially encouraged to consider this trip. Registration Deadline: May 31, 2020

Philippines – July 17-July 26, 2020

Our Filipino partner, the Center for Community Transformation (CCT), is our biggest partner with over 15 distinct ministries that are enabling the last to become first. This trip will offer you the option of seeing many of those 15 different ministries or focusing on Visions of Hope, the education arm of CCT. Either way, you will witness the inspiring work of one of the most effective kingdom-extending organizations we have ever seen. Teachers and educators joining the education trip will have an opportunity to provide training to the talented group of VOH teachers. Registration Deadline: May 31, 2020

Moldova – Late September, 2020

Invest Credit, our Moldovan partner, is taking bold steps to market their services to a much younger aspiring micro-entrepreneur in Moldova and provide attractive options for the young to remain in Moldova. This trip will offer an opportunity to meet some of the existing Invest Credit micro-entrepreneurs while witnessing the steps the organization is taking to attract younger clients. We will also get to know the Invest Credit staff by joining them and possibly providing training at their annual Staff Retreat. Registration Deadline: July 31, 2020

Peru – Early November, 2020

Kallarisunchis, our Peruvian partner, serves primarily indigenous women high in the Andes through microcredit and microsavings programs that enable the women to take much better care of themselves and their families while learning more about God’s love for them. In addition, Kallarisunchis offers a children’s program and an elder care program that extend the kingdom to the young and not-so-young. The result is a vibrant, joyful Peruvian organization that is being used by God to allow many to see and enter the kingdom. This trip will allow you to see this work while enjoying a side trip to Machu PIcchu. Registration Deadline: September 30, 2020

Capturing Exciting Transformation in the Peruvian Andes

We have partnered with Kallarisunchis in Peru for 20 years, but never have we returned so encouraged and inspired as we did from our November 2019 trip with them. Kallarisunchis Executive Director, Marleni Berrios, has surrounded herself with a fantastic, dedicated staff that has allowed the program to grow not only within their micro-credit program,...
